North Sea Seaweed 2025 was steaming aboard the SS Rotterdam!

A big thank you to everyone who joined us this week in Rotterdam. Together we turned promise into business and set a new milestone for the European seaweed industry.

North Sea Seaweed 2025 was a great success. As the European Seaweed Industry is trying to shift to a market-driven approach keynote speaker Jan Rotmans challenged the industry to come up with a compelling story that will reach the hearts of those consumers that want a better world. Their participation will be instrumental to make the European Seaweed Industry a success.

This message resonated with the more than 300 European professionals who attended the event. The program featured showcases with successful seaweed-based solutions in food, feed, biostimulants packaging and cosmetics. Furthermore, the Expo featured the first fully seaweed-based hotel room along with 35+ exhibitors with market-ready seaweed-based products.
