Invite to NSF Sector Session:' 'Seaweed Industry Roadmap Action Points'

We would like to invite members to the upcoming NSF Sector Session (online):' 'Seaweed Industry Roadmap Action Points' on Thursday 21 September 10:00 - 12:00 CEST.
As your sector organisation we aim to represent the sector where important decisions for the future are being made on topics such as seaweed production, co-use in the North Sea and sustainable seaweed solutions and markets. Therefore, North Sea Farmers will represent the seaweed sector in the 1st EU Algae Awareness Summit in Paris on 5, 6 and 7 October.
Proposing actions points to support the Seaweed Industry
The Summit (organised by DG Mare and the Global Seaweed Coalition) will launch a process to raise awareness among EU Member State administrations EU Member State administrations and the public about the multiple benefits that the algae sector can bring to national and regional economies, to people and to the regeneration of our oceans.
We aim to propose relevant action points to the Member State representatives that are urgently needed to scale up the sector and make it commercially viable.
Part of the Seaweed Industry Roadmap
These action points will form part of the Seaweed Industry Roadmap that we would like to develop together with you as members. Therefore, we would like to discuss these action points with you during this upcoming Sector Session in terms of priority, completeness and relevance. We will share these action points in advance of the session so that you will have some time to digest them.
